Power Distribution Modules
Main Function
The power distribution module takes input from the mains power and diesel generators, and performs power distribution, switching, and output. It converts the input mains power to low-voltage 380V for meeting the daily power requirements of the data center, and further transforms, distributes, controls, stores, protects, and monitors the electrical energy.
Main Components
Medium voltage switchgear, transformer (voltage conversion), low-voltage distribution cabinet (power distribution), SVG static var compensator, UPS uninterruptible power supply (emergency power storage), feeder cabinet, precision air conditioning, prefabricated copper busbars, visual monitoring system, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
Design Features:
Integrated assembly: Cable testing and commissioning are completed before leaving the factory to avoid secondary disasters or project delays caused by communication, protocol, wiring, and cross-construction issues.
Material savings: Compared to traditional schemes, input-output cables for UPS, low-voltage and control cables can save 30 % to 50 %.
